ARCHIVE 2006: Friday @ 10pm

Hello Prayer Warriors,

Just got a voice mail from Tim. He said the entire team is feeling better, no more stomach issues, praise God! They were able to minister all day in a village with all their ministries (Medical, Women's, Children's, Sport's). They had another great evening church service where 6 people came forward to profess faith in Christ!

They will travel through the night back to Manaus. Then Saturday they will spend the morning getting to do a little shopping and tourist-y things. They start their flight home at 2pm, but do not arrive in Dallas until 10am Sunday.

Pray for the follow-up of these new believers and seekers by the Brazilian church that the team has been partnered with this entire week. Please continue to pray for safety and health of the team. A lot of times I get ill when I return because my body lets its defenses down (and I am in an airplane for many hours breathing recirculated air). Please pray against this knowing that many of those on the trip will need to be back at work on Monday.

The next update will probably be from Tim. I have enjoyed the privilege of keeping you updated on the team. Thanks so much for being faithful to lift up this team in prayer!
