2 days away & counting.... Travel with us electronically as we journey from the concrete jungle of Dallas to the Amazon Jungle of Brazil. The trip dates are Sunday, March 11 through Monday, March 19 so check back periodically as we give updates on what God is doing through us to impact His world..........

Who are we? From Dallas, our group of 19 is part of Watermark Community Church working in partnership with E3 Partners. We are sales reps, nurses, marketing people and photographers. Those are our jobs but we are not defined by WHAT we do but rather WHO we are. Our real worth can only be understood by realizing who we are in Christ, created in His image we can only experience true significane in life as part of a personal relaitonship with God through Christ.

What are we going to do? Our mission is to demonstrate Christ's love to the people of the Amazon by using our God-given gifts & talents to love & serve people who are less fortunate.
Living on a boat as we travel up & down the Amazon River, we are partnering with an ongoing mission to the Brazilian interior as we show Christ's love by ministering to their medical, spiritual & physical needs. Our group will be split into a medical/dental team, sport's outreach, women's team & childrens/VBS team.

What do we believe? We believe that the "mission field" is not just in Brazil, or Africa, or Asia. We believe the mission field is all around us. Everyone one of us is surrounded by people who need to hear the truth of who Christ is & how much he loves them! Join us this week & make a comittment to get out of your comfort zone & be a missionary in your own back yard.

Our team leaves Dallas on March 11 but the trip really started 6 months ago. Our team has been through 7 training meetings, multiple immunizations, team building exercises, evangelism role-playing & cultural awareness training.

We will be in the middle of the Amazon Jungle but through the marvel of technology (satellite phone) we plan to check in daily & give updates so you will know what is happening & how you can pray together with us.
