Safe in Sao Paulo
Bom Dia! (That's "good morning" in Portuguese)
The team arrived safely this morning in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Their connecting flight to Manaus was delayed a little while, but I'm sure they didn't mind as it's usually a mad dash in the Sao Paulo airport to make that connection.
The flight from Sao Paulo to Manaus is about 4 hours, with a quick stop in Brazilia. Once they arrive in Manaus they'll enjoy an all-you-can-eat Brazilian style barbeque at a churrascaria. Tasty meats of all sorts and Brazilian favorites like grilled pineapple that is to die for! They will be ready for a nice nap! But instead they'll be visiting the Manaus Opera House (shown below)
Here's how you can pray for the team today:
- Team unity. They are probably tired as they've been traveling for almost 24 hours and are still in flight, which is a perfect time for Satan to attack their attitudes, spirits and how they respond to each other.
- That all of their ministry items will be safe, especially the medical & dental supplies. When they arrive in Manaus, there is a possibility to have every single bag checked. The security officers speak very little English and many times don't give you the opportunity to explain what the items are for.
- Safety in Manaus as they check out the city
- Team health
- A good night's rest
Blessings,
